Farewell To the Fest 2009

Another Summerfest is over and done/Hope you all had your fun/Drinking and dancing and singing with friends/But for now the year's biggest party must end...

The festground is littered with paper and cups/Discarded food for seagulls to pick up/The vendors have each gone away/Waiting til next year and those 11 days...

The Marcus is empty/the side stages are bare/Milwaukeeans are now focused/on the Wisconsin State Fair...

Their music lineup's better/Than the Big Gig this year/But the drunken masses don't give a sh*t/As long as they have beer...

So 2010 will just be more of the same/Bands that are irrelevant, artists who are lame/Don Smiley and Bob Babisch ain't got a clue/Except to douchbags like curlyboy, jkuter, GnuLoco and mmathu.
