Carrie Underwood set to close out Summerfest '10

Summerfest today announced a second 2010 headliner. Carrie Underwood is slated to perform the Marcus Amphitheater on Sunday, July 4.

Hello All,   ... I have not checked in for quite some time.  I hope everyone had a good holiday!  Nina, Mason, and I headed to New Orleans to support the Saints in the football playoffs recently. The catalyst for all summertime alt-music festivals have announced its 2010 lineup ... I'm talking about Coachella in Indio, Cali. This baby brings together the finest in alternative music and electronic artists; many times Coachella has been the place where acts reunite after lengthy hiatuses. Whoa. I just checked out Sade's latest "Solider of Love" on pitchfork.tv, and I have to say: I am inpressed ... I have liked Sade since high school- way back in the 80s. She had some hit albums with some smooth jazz nuggets like "Paradise," "The Sweetest Taboo," "No Ordinary Love," and "Never As Good As The First Time." ... Sade's music is basically the kind of stuff you put on when you are getting busy with your lady. (or in mmathu's case his preschool boys). She is sexy, sultry and superb.
